AION 2 Abyss Points: Three Reliable Ways to Farm AP

How to earn Abyss Points in AION 2 — PvP commissions, arena victories and limited-time events, plus what the points actually buy in the endgame.

Abyss Points (AP) are AION 2's PvP prestige currency — the score that buys endgame gear, wings and rank. The community's shorthand for them traces back to the series' Abyss warzone, and every serious build starts with a reliable AP income. Three channels pay the bills.
1. PvP Commissions
The daily and weekly commission board posts faction-warfare jobs: eliminate a set number of enemy players, capture strategic positions, hold objectives. Commissions are the steadiest AP income because they pay for playing the war anyway — check the board before every session and double-dip your travel.
2. Arena Combat
Solo or team, wins in the arena pay out AP along with seasonal standing — and the higher your placement, the fatter the reward track. If your class build is tuned for duels, the arena converts skill directly into currency. See the PvP modes guide for bracket details and season timing.
3. PvP-Themed Events
Limited-time mini-games and events — capture-the-flag style contests, survival challenges and festival modes — award AP for participation and placement. They rotate, they're fun, and they pay even when you lose. Treat them as your AP side dish.
What the Points Buy
AP feeds the Abyss war economy: top-tier equipment, the series-signature wings, military rank progression and access to the Abyss's transformation systems. Remember the risk side too — in open Abyss warfare, death clears your accumulated points, so bank them through the safe channels above before you gamble.
For the risk-tolerant, the open warzone pays best: start with the rift hunting overview and mind the macro policy — point farming through automation is exactly what the ban waves target.
