AION 2's daily loop decoded — secret mission fragments, even-hour material spawns, the weekly nightmare dungeon count, and where the season shop pays off.

AION 2's progression economy runs on a disciplined daily loop. Miss it and you fall behind the curve; master it and your account compounds. Here's the routine, and the fragment system that threads through it.
The Daily Fragment Loop
Fragments come from two sources:
- Daily secret missions. Each day you draw randomized mission orders; completing them opens supply boxes containing treasure map fragments. There are four fragment types — collect all four to assemble a complete map and open the mission chest.
- Timed event spawns. Some material fragments only appear at even hours of real time (the game's material refresh window). Open the NPC vendor menu right at spawn and buy quickly — if an NPC gets wiped out, wait for the next rotation rather than burning time.
The Routine That Compounds
- Dailies first. Clear the expedition dungeons that restore your Aether energy — account vitality depends on it — and prioritize mission quests that pay Aether energy, trace fragments and gold-grade gear.
- Weeklies are the big money. Cap the seven nightmare dungeon runs and the awakening battle (take the extreme difficulty when you can) — the payout is a precious endgame currency material exchangeable for Kinah.
- Material conversion. Turn breakthrough stone fragments (yellow, orange) and trace materials into higher-value items, then sell — this is the quiet engine of your gold economy.
- Season shop. Exchange for combat buff scrolls, growth materials and gear components; DPS classes should grab the intellect-oriented pet box.
- Event windows. During events, directive-book tasks pay event tokens — exchange them for revival stones, soul-seal stones and bulk Aether energy.
Why Bother With Discipline
The Abyss, transcension and other endgame gates all tax your materials; players who ran the loop enter them funded, and players who didn't grind from behind. The loop also feeds the gold-making channels that keep your enchanting budget solvent.
