AION 2 Damage Affixes: Final-Damage Strikes and Perfect Rolls Explained

AION 2's damage affixes decoded — how the final-damage multiplier works on multi-hit skills, why the max-attack-power affix pairs with it, and where to check your rolls.

AION 2's endgame is an affix hunt: damage-related rolls that appear on gear and multiply your output in very different ways. Two of them dominate every build conversation.
The Final-Damage Affix
This affix amplifies damage based on your final damage — after all other modifiers have applied. That ordering makes it scale with everything else you own, and it's why the roll is prized across all classes.
The detail that turns it from "good" to "broken": multi-hit interactions. When a skill deals damage in multiple hits, the portion of damage affected by this affix is amplified on each hit — a three-hit skill effectively triple-dips. Multi-hit kits and this affix are a multiplier stack, not an addition.
The Max-Attack-Power Affix ("Perfect")
The other premium roll scales damage off your weapon's maximum attack power rather than your final damage. It rewards builds with high attack ceilings — big weapons, big buffs — and its spike frames are spectacular when the top-end swings land. Where the final-damage affix is consistent, this one is casino-lucky; both belong in endgame conversations.
Where to Check Your Numbers
Both affixes — and their proc chances — are visible in the attributes window, which lists every probability and rate your character currently runs. Read it before you re-roll anything: knowing your actual percentages is the difference between upgrading and gambling.
Affixes stack on top of the godstone system — procs from stones, multipliers from affixes — which is why the Baklon raid DPS checks punish sloppy gear math.
