AION 2 Global Launch Guide Hub — What's Coming at Release

Our AION 2 launch hub: the confirmed October 2026 global release, what carries over from the KR/TW live version, and the guides we're preparing for day one.

A newly ascended Daeva — every global player starts here in October 2026.

AION 2 launches globally on PC in October 2026 (Steam lists October 5, and NC's earnings call set the window at the second half of the year — see our release window coverage). This hub is our staging point for launch: what we know now, and what we're building out as the Western service opens.

What's Confirmed for Global Launch

  • Free to play on PC via Steam and NC's Purple platform, with console and mobile versions announced alongside (see platforms guide)
  • The KR/TW live build as the baseline: eight classes, manual combat, faction war, and the 200+ dungeon PvE structure
  • NVIDIA DLSS 4 and Reflex integrated at launch
  • Underwater combat extending the series' signature aerial warfare below the waves

The KR/TW Version Is the Preview

Everything the Asian service has lived through since November 2025 is prologue: the launch day rollout, the anti-cheat crackdown, and two months of balance passes. Our existing guides are written against that live version, and they'll hold for global play:

Coming at Launch

Day-one coverage will add: a first-weeks roadmap, dungeon guides as the Western meta forms, PvP tier lists after balance patches, and region-specific setup (accounts, Purple vs Steam, and global pricing details). Bookmark this page — it updates as launch approaches.
