AION 2 PC requirements in full — i5-10400F/RX-class minimum, RTX 3060 Ti recommended, 16-32GB RAM and mandatory SSD storage, with upgrade guidance.

AION 2's official PC configuration divides into two tiers, and both send the same message: this is a current-generation MMO. Here's the full table and what it means for your machine.
Official Requirements
| Component | Minimum | Recommended |
|---|---|---|
| OS | Windows 10/11 64-bit | Windows 10/11 64-bit |
| CPU | Intel Core i5-10400F or AMD Ryzen 3 3300X | AMD Ryzen 5 5600X (6C/12T) or Intel Core i5-12400F (6C/12T) |
| RAM | 16 GB | 32 GB |
| GPU | NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 or AMD equivalent | NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti or AMD equivalent |
| Storage | SSD, 50 GB+ free | NVMe SSD, 70 GB+ free |
| DirectX | DirectX 12 | DirectX 12 |
Reading Between the Rows
- The 16GB minimum is the real news — most MMOs still list 8GB. Unreal Engine 5's streaming systems (Nanite and Lumen, per our UE5 deep dive) want memory headroom for seamless zones.
- The SSD mandate is equally modern: expect long loads and texture pop on hard drives. If your rig has one drive, make it the game's home.
- The GTX 1660 floor targets 1080p, and DLSS 4 support stretches it further — multi-frame generation is the cheapest "upgrade" a 1660 owner can enable.
If You're Upgrading Anyway
Priority order for AION 2 specifically: SSD first (mandatory), RAM to 16GB minimum, then GPU. CPU matters less than in most games until you're in large-scale Abyss sieges, where draw calls and player counts spike.
Once you're in game, keep it stable: our crash fixes and disconnect fixes cover the common failure points.
