AION 2 spans PC (Purple and Steam), PS5, Xbox Series X|S, iOS and Android — how the cross-platform rollout fits together.

AION 2 is NC's most platform-ambitious MMO: a single world delivered across PC, consoles and mobile, with the character carried between them.
The Full Platform List
- PC — the lead platform, distributed through NC's own Purple launcher and Steam (the global version's storefront — see the global launch confirmation)
- PS5 and Xbox Series X|S — announced console versions for the modern generation
- iOS and Android — the full game on phones, with PC–mobile cross-platform play built in
The KR/TW service opened on November 18, 2025 with PC and mobile as the anchor platforms; console rollout follows per region, and the global PC release lands in October 2026.
What Cross-Platform Means in Practice
Your character is the same on desktop and phone — the 200-parameter creator builds once and renders everywhere, and the engine holds visual consistency across both. It also means the economy and warfronts are shared: the player flying overhead may be thumbing a phone screen.
Which Platform Should You Choose?
- PC (Steam or Purple) remains the definitive experience: highest settings, DLSS 4 and Reflex support, and the mouse-and-keyboard precision that manual combat rewards.
- Mobile is genuinely playable thanks to aggressive optimization, but large-scale Abyss sieges still favor a desktop.
