How to set up your AION 2 account — when you need an NC account, how Steam and Purple differ, and the ten-minute path from zero to character creation.
You need at most two accounts to play AION 2: the store you play through (Steam or NC's Purple) and an NC account, which covers NC-side services like the Market and in-game support. Setup takes about ten minutes and costs nothing — AION 2 is free to play.

Setting Up on Steam
- Sign in to Steam and open the AION 2 store page
- Optional: purchase a Founder's Pack there for the September 30 head start
- Install the game (pre-load is live now)
- Have an NC account ready for in-game services — make one through NC's official channels if you don't have one
Setting Up on Purple
- Download the PURPLE launcher from purple.plaync.com/download
- Create or sign in with your NC account — this is your NC identity across its games
- Install AION 2 through Purple onto your SSD
Good to Know Before Day One
- The game speaks your language. The global version ships in English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, Japanese, and Korean
