What Is the Templar in AION 2?

The Templar is AION 2's shield of the party: taunts, blocks and the durability to hold a boss's attention while everyone else works. Fights in AION 2 are manual and punishing, and the player absorbing the boss's attention is carrying the group's rhythm — that's the Templar's job description, fought with a longsword and the heaviest armor in the game.
