The final-damage affix amplifies damage based on your final damage — after all other modifiers have applied. That ordering makes it scale with everything else you own, and it's why the roll is prized across all classes.
The Multi-Hit Detail That Turns It Broken
When a skill deals damage in multiple hits, the portion of damage affected by this affix is amplified on each hit — a three-hit skill effectively triple-dips. Multi-hit kits and this affix are a multiplier stack, not an addition, which is why affix hunters pair it with rapid-swing class kits.
