Can My PC Run AION 2? A Part-by-Part Check
Published 2026-09-294 min read
Will AION 2 run on your PC? How to check your specs against the official requirements, what each part means at 1080p, and the cheapest upgrade order.

If your PC has a GTX 1660-class GPU, 16GB of RAM and an SSD, you clear AION 2's minimum tier and will play at 1080p. Everything below that line is a question of which part to fix first — and the order matters.
The 60-Second Check
Press Win+R, type dxdiag, and read three lines against the official requirements table:
- OS — Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit. Anything older fails before it starts.
- RAM — 16GB is the floor. 8GB machines will stutter in cities and sieges no matter what else you own.
- Display + processor — the GPU line is your verdict: GTX 1660 or newer NVIDIA (or AMD equivalent) passes; the recommended RTX 3060 Ti class plays comfortably.
Then check one thing dxdiag won't show you: an SSD with 50GB+ free. It's part of the official minimum spec, and it's non-negotiable for load times and texture streaming.
What Each Part Actually Does in AION 2
- Storage decides how the game feels. On an SSD, zones stream in seamlessly; on a hard drive you get long loads and pop-in. The single cheapest fix in the whole build.
- RAM decides stability. 16GB holds the open-world zones; 32GB (recommended) keeps headroom for dual-client play and background apps.
- GPU decides resolution. The 1660 floor targets 1080p — and DLSS 4 with multi-frame generation is effectively a free upgrade for owners of RTX and even older cards.
- CPU matters least until large-scale Abyss sieges, where draw calls and player counts spike. A 6-core modern chip holds both tiers fine.
The Upgrade Order, If You're Short
- SSD first — mandatory spec, biggest per-dollar feel.
- RAM to 16GB — the difference between "runs" and "stable."
- GPU last — the expensive part; enable DLSS before you shop.
