How Do You Engrave Godstones in AION 2? Sources and Rules

You get godstones from three channels, then engrave one into a piece of equipment to embed its combat proc. The one rule that governs everything: godstone effects do not stack — engraving a new stone overwrites the previous effect, so only the last engraving applies.

Where Godstones Come From

1. Monster drops — regular kills carry a small godstone chance; farm dense packs or bosses for volume
2. Dungeons and events — special content pays godstone rewards on completion
3. The shop — certain currencies exchange directly for stones

The Engraving Rules That Matter

The engraving window shows the target item, the selected stone's info and your held stones. The mechanics inside it:

• Only the last engraving applies — plan before you etch
• Higher grade, stronger effect — a stone's level directly scales the power it grants
• Engraved stones can be removed from equipped gear — mistakes are reversible, at a cost
• Synthesis: consume four held godstones for a chance at one new, higher-potential stone
