AION 2 Trading Exchange: The Market, Fees and Selling Rules
Published 2026-09-293 min read
How trading works in AION 2 — buying from the Market is free, selling needs a membership, the 8% fee, Quna Exchange access and no direct player trades.

Trading in AION 2 runs through the Market: buying is free for everyone, selling requires a membership, and the house takes an 8% fee on every sale. There is no free-form player-to-player trading to route around it — the exchange is the only trading hub, by design.
The Rules That Matter
- Buying is free, permanently. Every player can browse and purchase from the Market on any account tier.
- Selling is the headline unlock. Listing your own items requires the first membership tier — the single biggest gameplay reason to subscribe.
- The fee is 8%. The house cut comes off every sale, so price accordingly — the kinah guides all budget for it.

Quna Exchange and Personal Trades
Membership also opens the Quna Exchange and personal trading — the two other sanctioned routes alongside the Market. What you can't do is hand items directly to another player for free: direct player-to-player trade is disabled, which is exactly why the gold-selling scene carries the risk it does.
The practical loop: farm surplus from dungeons and dailies, list it on the Market, and treat the 8% as rent. The full currency picture — where kinah comes from and where it leaks — is in the kinah currency guide.
