Dawn Legion is one of the opening beats of AION 2's main story — the chapter that turns a newly awakened Daeva loose on Atreia and teaches the loop the rest of the game repeats. If you follow nothing else, follow the yellow diamond markers: Episode quests are the main line, they pay the largest experience in the game, and they are the fastest road to the level 45 cap.
How the Chapter Plays
The flow is deliberately linear. A short prologue establishes your faction and your Daeva, then the chapter opens the first zone and walks you through its systems one at a time — travel, wings, gathering, and the first combat rotations. Yellow Episode markers are the spine; green Regional markers branch off beside them and pay the gear and progression items that feed your Daevanion boards.
Do the Side Markers While They're Green
Regional quests unlock by level and shrink in value once you out-level them, so clear them as they appear rather than banking them for later. The XP gap is small, but the Daevanion Crystals they hand out are not — those crystals are the skill-point currency that defines your build, and the chapter is where the first meaningful batch arrives.
What It Unlocks
Finishing the chapter's chain opens the systems the rest of the site covers: the Journal's Episodes tab fills in, duty quests come online, and the first daily and weekly loop becomes available. Treat the chapter as a tutorial with real rewards — the habits you build here (moving on markers, clearing regionals on sight, spending crystals) carry into every zone after it.
