AION 2 Abyss Content: Supply Requests, AP and the Abyss Store

How the Abyss works in AION 2 — the PvPvE zone, Supply Request trades that turn items into Abyss Points, and spending AP in the Abyss Store.
Abyss content is the non-PvP half of the Abyss: Supply Requests that exchange your surplus items for Abyss Points, and the Abyss Store that spends them on high-level gear. The Abyss itself is AION 2's PvPvE endgame zone — but you don't have to win fights against players to profit from it.
Supply Requests: Items In, Points Out
The Supply Request window trades accumulated resources — refining stones, crafted gear, boss drops — for Abyss Points. Four request types run on different clocks:

Emergency and Weekly want farmable world items. Season: Crafting wants armor and weapons you crafted yourself at a table; Season: Boss wants boss drop sets you farm until complete.
The GL Check Before You Queue for PvP
Fighting in the Abyss is still the fastest AP, but it assumes you can hold your ground — generally considered to start around 1.8k–1.9k gear level (approximate, community consensus). Below that, Supply Requests are the sane route: they pay a healthy amount after you finish main-quest PvE content, no PvP required.
Where the Points Go
AP spends in the Abyss Store, most notably on high-level gear. Between requests, the store and the farming routes, the Abyss pays even for players who never touch open PvP.
